Remember when the ACLU was an organization that fought for rights and justice in American society? Please put that outdated notion straight into the bin. The ACLU has been ideologically captured and now actively fights against the rights and safety of women in American society, specifically American women in prison who do not want to share their confines with male bodied people. But no, female safety and boundaries must be sacrificed on the alter of transgender ideology because male gender feelings must take precedent of the physical safety of females.
“One-third of the requests for transfer from men’s prisons to women’s prisons include an inmate who had been convicted of a sex offense,” Adams says, noting that the figures are similarly stark in the federal prison system, where 48% of trans-identified male inmates were imprisoned on a sex offense.
“Ultimately what we are dealing with is a complete denial of reality,” Adams says, “The ACLU along with every person on this planet knows what men and women are, and what makes them different. Their denial of this fact in order to validate the identities of male offenders is embarrassing.”
WoLF is expected to file their response to the ACLU’s intervention by May 31.

No biologist ever claims that chimpanzees, wolves, elephants, lions, etc are not sexually dimorphic. Homosexuality exists in many animals, and presumably there are (as with humans) a very, very few individuals with birth defects which make sex superficially ambiguous, but it remains an obvious fact that every animal species — certainly every mammal species — is divided into males and females, with substantial physical and behavioral differences. It’s absurd that a few ideology-addled people insist on claiming, against all hard evidence, that humans alone are an exception to one of the most fundamental and universal patterns of animal evolution on this planet.
Any intrusion of ideology into science is damaging to the latter, especially when the ideology is backed up with political power. Lysenkoism in the USSR is the most obvious modern example. The ACLU, of course, is not a scientific organization and has no relevant expertise. They are just twisting and rejecting scientific reality because they want something else to be true, exactly a creationists and flat-Earthers do.

Having watched Scottie (from Scottie’s Playtime) argue not only against biological sex as real and true but insist gender identity is the only justified measurement, dismiss any expert biologists who use the standard gamete size to differentiate sexes as transphobes, dismiss this binary categorization or anyone who draws upon it for differentiating all species as white supremacy and colonialism, call any and all disagreement from the ‘correct’ spectrum ideology as bigotry and right wing extremism, it’s clear that this is a belief system in action that steamrolls reality, rejects facts and reasons, and does so to a specific ideological end. It shares the same tactics against reason and evidence in order to control the belief framing as any imposed religious belief does.
This is why I am so disappointed in so many atheists who should be able to recognize the same poisonous reality-denying tactics of religious belief in action that is used by these ideologues. If anyone should, it is atheists who should recognize the same hostile takeover and ideological capture in public institutions to further its spread, who should recognize the scope of the indoctrination of children using this woke belief system, and – worst of all – who should decry the yielding of political representation only to either the woke ideologues on the extreme left or the populists on the extreme right wing that makes the vast majority of people (87% in the US) who tend to respect what’s true politically homeless.
This is crime. This is the cost of going along to get along.
This is how we get law to go along with the faith-based belief of self described gender identity as if ‘real’ and biological sex dismissed as if a social bigoted construct in order to harm real people in real life in the name of ideological virtue, in this case changing the legislation to allow sex offenders to identify through gender magic as their victims in order to gain controlled access to them. This is what woke inclusiveness looks like in action when what’s true no longer matters and faith-based belief rules the public square.

No, actually, I don’t remember this. Because for the entirety of my lifetime, the ACLU has supported the “free speech” rights of pornographers over those of women.
There has never been anything you can say about women hateful enough that it rises to the level where the ACLU gives a shit. But they’re perfectly willing to suppress/censor women’s speech when we say men can’t magically change sex just because of their special gender feelz.

There are five areas post modernist, post marxist scholars (Adorno being one) identified that need to be ‘remade’ in our society – Law, Family, Education, Media, and Religion. It looks like they are really doing well in Law and Education and to the certain extent the media.
As an educator, I do my limited part in the pushback in Education, but as for the Law and media the only options I have have usually start with and end with a letter to the appropriate individual(s). Getting the rot out of institutions is going to be a hell of a fight.
And it is rot, and its been going on for a very long time. To paraphrase James Lindsay – the neomarxist project is a 100 – 150 year long spear that has been thrust at the heart of western civilization – I thought it was hyperbole, but as Lindsay produced the historical evidence for this thesis it became clear it was indeed most certainly NOT hyperbole.

I suspect the atheist rot was already in place. I mean the places we go to further our education are becoming more and more ideologically captured. The ability to accurately interrogate reality is being ignored in our higher institutions.
In hindsight, you can see the program in effect. The relentless negative criticism of like what happened in Elevatorgate. You split and polarize a community, scoop up the converts (atheism+) and hollow out/ marginalize the remnants of the once cohesive group. It’s like watching cancer in action.

EVERYTHING in America now is corporate-bribed lobbying. Same plutocrats running: Wall St./Big Tech/State Dept./etc. have figured out how to flood Old Left activist groups with new money to politically neutralize them and, it preserves the notion of American Empire without critique. It is all coordinated by design and with international implications. “Trans”, for example; in how it just strangely seemed to explode on all fronts out-of-the-woodwork (after the media shut-off MeToo once they couldn’t weaponize it specifically toward Trump’s poll ratings), is a massive “Pinkwashing” campaign to (ironically) destroy the Left; by making it (now) White male-sex-kink-centric (the group MeToo was calling out for accountability as well as…the group, obviously, which often comprises the pathological mindset of the U.S. global machine) INSTEAD of being focused on victims of REAL SOCIAL INJUSTICES AND ECONOMIC INEQUITY SEEKING REDRESS. ALL. OF. IT. IS. BY. DESIGN.
They tried to usher “trans” in under the umbrella of “gay”; all the while it is fundamentally THE TOTAL OPPOSITE OF GAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN IMAGINE. LOOK AT ALL THE ABUSE DIRECTED AT U.K. LESBIANS BY THESE PSYCHOPATHIC MEN WITHOUT SHAME(!). If we didn’t have evidence of that criminal misogyny right in front of us, the notion of a government biotech medical complex, essentially, “ordering someone to perform gender” is conversion therapy x1000 in some sort of (truly fascistic) Orwellian Hell.

A common response to the advocating for atheism over religiosity was, “With what shall you replace religion?” My response was usually along the lines, “with reality.” I viewed Dennett’s notion of Brights with the humanist Plus notion as tag-along notions with atheism that were fraught with diversion and division in the name of social activism – trying to harness the influence of removing religious belief as if a virtue with something else into the new gap but considered more virtuous. (Always a mistake, in my humble opinion.)
I think of group-based ideology as equivalent to any faith-based ideology: a chosen belief, a decision to view/frame the world in an artificial way that imposes the belief on reality (the reversed order from what produces knowledge and replaces it with imposed belief, whether that’s religion imposed on reality or wokism), where reason and evidence are used selectively but only when they seem to fit the ideology. Everything else becomes a vice and the people who hold it therefore immoral, much in the same way someone who criticizes a religion or its practices becomes a blasphemer and therefore of low or certainly questionable moral character with dangerous motivations.
For those who realized then that religion imposed on others is a Very Bad Idea for all kinds of very good reasons and compelling evidence, it surprises me how easy fooled are so many of the same people who now think woke ideology imposed on others is a Very Good Idea but who reject very good reasons and compelling evidence indicating otherwise. And it becomes painfully obvious when those who do criticize ware considered what amounts to blasphemers along with the same assumption of low or certainly questionable moral character with dangerous motivations (usually then couched in the worst possible descriptive moral terms like racist and transphobe and bigots and so on).
