Educators, parents- when you start getting the smell of “anti-racist” activism coming from your local school board be prepared to go on the offensive to keep this bullshit out of your school and away from your children.  Just look at the mess this activist agenda has created in the Peel School Board.

“The “serious issues related to governance” identified by Rodrigues arose as a result of the disconnect between the conclusions and directives of the PDSB review and the real-world situation in the schools. The senior administrative team at the time knew that racism in the schools was, at most, one part of the reason for lower achievement and higher discipline rates among black students. They knew that to address these issues would require a broad, community-based set of actions many of which would not be supported by the woke activists who blamed all the problems black students were experiencing entirely on “systemic racism”. The reluctance on the part of senior administration to blame the entire problem on racism and embrace Kendi-style “antiracism” as the antidote meant that they had to go. They were cut loose (with a reported severance package of half a million each for Director Peter Joshua and his Associate Director Mark Harmon).

“As supervisor, I have worked with board staff, the Board of Trustees, community members, students, and parents over the past 2 and ½ years to rebuild relationships and trust that had been eroded over a significant period of time. When I accepted the appointment, I assumed control over a board that lacked capacity to effectively govern in the interests of all students of the board. Administrative leadership and elected leadership lacked the capacity and, in some cases, – as noted in the Investigator’s Report – the willingness to provide the leadership required to ensure that the diversity of students and families in the PDSB was well served.”

The community activists have been well served, but no one else has. The supervisor was disconnected from any actual educational reality on the ground; he did not work out of the board offices but rather at Queen’s Park. He was an unknown ghostly presence in the board and most staff never met him or received any correspondence from him. His role appeared to be to ensure that the local activists, who were demanding the application of Critical Theory (wokeism) to board polices and procedures, were consulted by senior administration at every turn. Under Rodriguez, a major purge took place in which the majority of the senior administration, lifelong educators with a wealth of experience, were shown the door. Since these were firings without cause, this exercise not only degraded the administration, replacing these knowledgeable veterans with inexperienced, ideologically-driven neophytes, it was also very expensive. Millions were spent on severance pay and early retirement packages, which essentially amounted to paying an administrator his or her full salary while they sat at home until they reached that date at which they could retire with an unreduced pension. Of course, receiving these handouts was predicated on keeping their mouths shut about what was really going on at the board. The point is that the effect of Rodrigues’ supervision was the replacement of highly experienced, traditional liberal, and relatively apolitical administrators with inexperienced, identity-obsessed followers of Kendi-style Critical Theory. As you might expect, the resulting impacts on student learning environments and teacher morale have been devastating.

“I have also invested significant time and resources to build the capacity of the Board of Trustees (Board) to position them to govern the PDSB in a manner that is accountable, transparent, respectful, and responsive to the issues and concerns of the communities it serves….”

The only people Rodrigues was accountable to were the race-essentialist activists. He has done absolutely nothing to model respect or responsiveness to community concerns about the hostile and divided climate he has created in the schools and offices of the board, in which all white people (especially heterosexual males) are characterized as oppressors while black people and other “marginalized groups” are cast as victims.

“While the newly elected board has begun its term of office in a productive and positive way, it is appropriate for regular updates to be sent to the minister to confirm that relationships are professional, respectful, and collaborative among the trustees and between the Board and the senior leadership team. The minister would be advised to similarly request confirmation and evidence that the Board is responding to community concerns in a respectful, timely and meaningful manner”.

It is clear from this statement, that while the board may have been handed back control of its operations, Big Brother will be watching. That means that Critical Theory will continue to govern PDSB policy as long as it remains the mainstream thinking in academia generally. And that could be a very long time.”

Divide and conquer is the preferred method on display here.  The former board was isolated and those that did not buy into the program were purged in the name of ideological purity.

Where is the Canadian Media, outside of Barbara Kay at the National Post on this war on females in Canadian Society?

This excerpt from the Daily Mail Online edition.

“Prominent British female Olympians have joined a revolt against controversial new plans that could mean they have to race transgender women in future.

Established Team GB stars Beth Dobbin and Emily Diamond, as well as up and coming runner Ellie Baker, have now all said women should not be expected to compete against transgender athletes due to biological advantages.

World Athletics has begun to consult its member federations over a proposed rule change that would increase restrictions on trans women but not ban them completely, The Telegraph reported last week.

The governing body was said to be looking to halve the maximum amount of testosterone trans female athletes would be allowed, and double the amount of time they would need to maintain these levels before competing.

But Ms Dobbin, who reached the 200m semi-finals in Tokyo 2020, said that women ‘deserve to compete exclusively against competitors who don’t have any of the advantages that the female category exists to exclude'”

Look Canada press, just look!  Reporting the issue taking both sides into consideration, I know you can do it too!

It is the holiday season again folks.  One of the best ways to get into the feeling of the season is to share with others.  It’s also a very nice end around the whole capitalism thing, if that’s your bag.

To make it extra easy, while in Canada, I would suggest going to the Canada Helps Website.  Straightforward, secure, and reliable.

It is my holiday tradition to donate Turkey’s in the name of my family and friends.  Also a great time of year to donate to the Vancouver Women’s Rape Relief Shelter, they are on the front lines of keeping women (adult human females) safe in our society and deserve our support.

Any lesson plan that includes a section called “Critical Consciousness” is an immediate red flag.  This is the groundwork being put in place to drive deeper the wedge of identity politics in our society via our children.  The  goal of all CRT is not education, but rather, the creation of activists whose goal is to disrupt society.

The vast majority of children are the same in the inside and the outside, so to speak.  They not need to know about the bullshit that is gender identity while in Kindergarten.  It is not appropriate, and should not be in LESSON Plans for them.

Kindergarten is not the space to brew activists who will challenge ‘gender normativity’.  JFC – Queer theory is pernicious.

Brief overview of CRT

In the simplest of terms, CRT is a particular way of looking at race relations in society. The term was originally coined by legal scholar Kimberlé Crenshaw, in the 1980s, and its goal was to examine the ways in which racism continued to present itself in America despite the advances that were made during the civil rights movement.

Though slavery in the United States was officially abolished in 1865, Jim Crow laws (enforcing racial segregation), and other discriminatory practices, such as prohibiting black people from living in certain neighbourhoods, remained for nearly another century. The US, and Canada, to a lesser extent, have a history of racism that cannot be denied, and exploring the ways this history might have lingering effects on people of colour today is therefore a noble endeavour.

CRT does this in a flawed, counterintuitive way, however. It rejects the “common humanity” approach to achieving social justice – the very approach that has allowed us to overcome racist attitudes and race-based discrimination in the West to the degree that we have. Further, it is explicitly opposed to liberal principles like individual rights and civil liberties. Derrick Bell, the first African American tenured law professor at Harvard, and one of the founders of CRT, stated in his 1987 book that “progress in American race relations is largely a mirage obscuring the fact that whites continue, consciously or unconsciously, to do all in their power to ensure their dominion and maintain their control”. Indeed, for CRT supporters, racism is viewed as the ordinary, permanent state of affairs in our society.

This cynical view is shared by contemporary CRT advocates like author Robin DiAngelo. In her book White Fragility, which sat on the New York Times Best Seller list for a year in 2020, she claims that “anti-blackness is foundational to our very identities as white people” (p.91) and says “to be less white is to be less racially oppressive” (p. 149). She even argues, in this paper, that “raising white children to be white is a form of child abuse”. Beyond revealing her own racist attitudes, which she also projects onto every other white person, DiAngelo’s “insights” are not overly illuminating. Are Canadian taxpayers aware that they have been paying for her to share her views at “antiracist” events, like this one just last month?

According to CRT, racial identity is of primary importance when it comes to determining one’s position in society. Rather than saying “you are black, I am white, but most importantly, we are both human beings, and we should therefore be treated equally”, it says “you are black, I am white, and as such you are an oppressed victim, and I am a privileged oppressor; your experience of the world is completely different from mine, and the way to bring about positive change is to draw attention to the ways in which we are different”.

Indeed, based on the CRT framework, treating everyone the same regardless of skin colour (i.e., “colourblindness”) is actually a form of covert racism, as this approach does not “centre” racial identity. This is directly opposed to the unifying message of Martin Luther King, who famously stated his dream for his four children to see the day when people would be judged not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character.

In fact, even racial segregation is being brought back into fashion by proponents of CRT. They say it is for the “safety” of people of colour — a space to be free from white people, or from “whiteness”, as they like to call it. Have a look at this Chicago church that decided that they were “fasting from whiteness” for Lent this year… and proudly advertised it on their front lawn!

Language games breed self-censorship

With many elements of postmodern thought baked into the theory, CRT is more concerned with “dismantling” abstract “systems of power” through “deconstructing” language than it is with actually finding material solutions to real-world problems using evidence-based analysis. This manifests, notably, as an obsessive focus on what words we should and shouldn’t use (if we are to avoid “harm” and “microaggression” accusations, or worse).

How does knowing the current “accepted” term, say between “racial minority”, “coloured people”, “racialized people”, “Black”, “BIPOC”, and “people of colour” translate to any change for this particular group of individuals? It doesn’t.

But when it becomes such a grave, racist offence to use the “wrong” words, most people would rather not mess it up. This hyperfocus on language, which does not present any real world benefit for black people, simply keeps us guessing, and stops us from saying what it is we think. It is chilling free speech.

At the same time, this insistence on politically correct terminology provides incentives for certain ambitious types to master these language games and become self-appointed members of the thought police. Generally, it is white, university educated, middle and upper class women, who have discovered that between being accused of using the wrong words — i.e., “perpetuating white supremacy” — and accusing others of using the wrong words, while benefiting from a sense of moral superiority, the latter is preferable.

It isn’t clear whether they ever stop to wonder “who is this helping, anyway?” — they simply stay up to date on the latest woke beliefs, and enforce them onto others, ruthlessly at times, while claiming to be the compassionate and inclusive ones. They probably actually believe it.

These ideologues are encouraged not only by the innocuous sounding language that covers up this divisive ideology – like “equity”, “anti-racism”, “inclusion”, etc. – but also by the complex-sounding explanations below the surface. Of course, the underlying ideas are deceptively shallow and straightforward, but being able to virtue signal by using words like “hegemony” or “intersectionality” and cite academic papers (ignoring the fact that rigour is severely lacking in these fields) is addictive for some.

Escaping the burden of proof

“Anti-racist” or “CRT” activists claim that racism permeates our society at every level in a subconscious and/or systemic way. This is tremendously useful for anyone who champions the ideology, as it allows for an easy way out of having to show evidence for their claims. After all, the alleged racism is hidden, so how are they supposed to prove its existence? Why should they be expected to? (And also, you must be racist if you think proof is required.)

If you are brave enough to ask them to substantiate their beliefs, or voice genuine disagreement, many will immediately disengage, label you or accuse you of “harm” for your truth-seeking ways.

One major media outlet has the courage to tackle the issue of males who ‘identify as women’ being allowed to go to female prison.  This of course is complete horseshite and a clear and present danger to the female prison population.  Imagine being locked up with a rapist and not being able to do a damn thing about it because of his protected gender-identity rights.  This is an absolute travesty of justice and a huge fuck-you to the female population of Canada.  The legislation – Canadian bill C-16 that is responsible for  this horror-clownshow needs to be repealed.

Barbara Kay writing in the National Post outlines the problems:

“Since June 2017, Canada’s Human Rights Act has prohibited discrimination against gender identity and gender expression. Correctional Service Canada’s policy had been to approve transfer to a women’s prison of a male inmate identifying as a woman only after bottom surgery. Shortly after Bill C-16 was passed, a simple affirmation of identity as a woman — no surgery, no hormones, just a pronoun change — became sufficient to request, and usually get, a transfer.

Gender identity has become a sacrosanct principle in Canada, with trans inclusivity privileged over sex-based security claims. Transwomen with a history of violent crime are not disqualified for transfer, even though we have no evidence that an individual’s psychopathology disappears with a change of gender identity. A serial pedophile; a serial sex offender; a contract killer; a child killer; a murderer: All have been approved for Canadian women’s prisons or halfway houses.”

Anyone with more than two neurons to rub together can see the idiocy of prioritizing male gender feelings over the physical safety of women.

“Brad Hunter, a reporter with the Toronto Sun, has written up several of these cases. Steven “Sam” Mehlenbacher, for example, was convicted 16 times for bank robbery. Having escaped from more than one halfway house, Mehlenbacher was classified as a dangerous offender by the Toronto Police. After declaring a new gender identity, Mehlenbacher was moved to the Edmonton Institution for Women, and from there to Kitchener’s Grand Valley Institute in May 2019. Mehlenbacher was charged with sexual assault in March 2020.

The government’s rationale for its policy is that transwomen in men’s prisons are at increased risk for harm. At a 2019 Senate committee hearing on human rights related to imprisonment, Dr. Aaron Devor, Inaugural Chair in Transgender Studies at the University of Victoria, adduced statistics attesting to trans inmates’ high rates of “sexual victimization” (which may include anything from body-shaming insults to sexual assault). He spoke passionately of the need to accommodate transwomen in the prison system on the ground of their right to safety.

But Gearóid Ó Loingsigh, an international expert/consultant on prisons, questions the trend to trans exceptionalism in prison reforms. He argues there are many groups at elevated risk for harm in prison populations: gays, certain ethnic groups and (especially) those with mental or physical disabilities, none of whom may request transfer to women’s prisons. Loingsigh writes: “The trans are not the most vulnerable collective, not by a long shot, and … some predators self-identify as women with the aim of being transferred to women’s wings.

Completely shocked that predatory males would ‘self-id’ as female to be place in the female prison system.  Your prey is locked up with you, with no escape and no recourse…

“Indeed, the U.K. Ministry of Justice has acknowledged that since 2010, seven out of the 124 sexual assaults against females in custody — or 5.6 per cent — have been perpetrated by transwomen, who account for about one per cent of the prison population.

Requests for transfers to women prisons are escalating in the U.K. and the U.S. The L.A. Times reported last week that the California prison system has received 261 applications for transfer since Jan. 1 from transgender and non-binary inmates. Inmates at Central California Women’s Facility told the Times that staff had warned them of potential sexual violence from trans imposters.

Clearly a certain percentage of transfers are gaming the system. Even trans advocate Aaron Devor admitted in his senate testimony, “(T)here are people who will take advantage of the system and show up and say … I’ll just claim I’m a woman.’” Consequently, we now have an unfair prison situation in which both transmen and transwomen are housed with women for protection from violent men, their right to security trumping the right to security of the women for whom these prisons exist.”

We have an election coming up soon.  When the Pols come begging for your vote see what there point of view is about putting males in the female prison system.  See if they will support the idea that female safety is more important than male gender feelings.  If the answer is in the negative, tell them you are not voting for them until they can stand up and protect half of the members of Canadian society.

The hollow shell of ‘progressive’ virtue signalling rings a bit hollower as here in Canada, there is no one on the list to remember.

As in for the last three years…

Although at the very same time those pesky uterus-havers and menstruators are dying at a rate of 1 woman every 2.5 days. Yet here were are celebrating the manufactured victimhood of gender deluded males.

Transgender ideology cloaks its misogyny in false narratives of oppression and trauma – while doing its very best to erase females and female boundaries, spaces, and sports from society.
